Dardishta: Tonight’s match against Vardar is not a formality

Muhjedin Dardishta, a player for Arsimi, said before tonight’s First Macedonian Football League (PMFL) sixth-round match that the trip to face champions Vardar in Skopje is far from a mere formality and represents a genuine chance for his side.

"We respect the champion Vardar, but we go to play football and fight until the end. We will give our maximum every minute. We created many chances and showed quality. That gives us belief that we can stand up to the strongest," he added. "I promise that we will fight until the end. We will give everything from the first minute to the last whistle. I hope that in the end we will return from Skopje with a positive result," Dardishta said.

Dardishta insisted that Arsimi will not approach the fixture cautiously despite Vardar being considered the favorite in the competition. He highlighted his team's recent performances and chances created as reasons for confidence.

The match is scheduled for 19:00 at the Petar Miloshevski complex in Skopje as part of the PMFL sixth round on September 7, 2026. Arsimi aim to use the game to challenge the title holders and grab an important result away from home.

Coaches and supporters on both sides will be watching how Arsimi's attacking intent matches up against Vardar's experience; Dardishta's message is clear — the players will give their all for the full 90 minutes.
