Water supply cut in parts of Centar and Karpoš today

Parts of Skopje's Centar and Karpoš municipalities will experience temporary water supply interruptions today, the Public Utility Company Water Supply and Sewerage (JKP Vodovod i Kanalizacija) announced.

Planned and unplanned works affect different neighborhoods

In Centar, the interruption is due to a connection from the old to the new water network, changing from f-400mm to f-200mm at Miroslav Krleža Street (no number). Customers on Miroslav Krleža downstream from Bulevar Partizanski Odredi to Orce Nikolov Street will be without water. The outage will begin at 08:30 and last until the work is completed.

In Karpoš, crews reported a street defect on a f 100mm pipe at Praska Street no. 50. The interruption affects Praska Street, the Damska section of Bukureshka, Gimnazija and O.U. Nova. The water supply suspension is scheduled from 09:00.

The utility said both interruptions are temporary and will end when the connection or repair work is finished. Residents in the affected zones should make arrangements for alternative water needs during the stated hours.

Authorities did not provide an exact restoration time beyond “until completion.” Customers with urgent questions are advised to contact JKP Water Supply and Sewerage through their usual channels.
