A 10-year-old child from Skopje was seriously injured after being struck by a car identified as a 'Chevrolet' driven by a 70-year-old woman from the city.
The incident occurred on Sunday at 19:45 at the intersection of Hristo Tatarchev Street and Frank Harcourt Manning Street in Skopje.
“It was reported that 70-year-old M. G. from Skopje, while driving a passenger vehicle 'Chevrolet' with Skopje registration plates, struck a 10-year-old child from Skopje”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The child suffered severe bodily injuries, which were confirmed upon examination at the Sveti Naum Ohridski Hospital in Skopje.
Authorities have provided the initial details of the event; further information about the circumstances and any possible charges has not yet been released.
