Jadon Sancho linked to UAE third‑tier Arabian Falcons
Once valued at €130 million, Jadon Sancho is reportedly negotiating with newly founded Arabian Falcons FC with plans to reach the UAE top flight.
It sounds improbable, but the reports are clear: once highly valued at €130 million, winger Jadon Sancho could continue his career in the third tier of United Arab Emirates football.
Sancho, 26, went from being one of Europe's most sought‑after young attackers to a free agent whose fortunes have sharply declined since his move to Manchester United in 2021. United paid €85 million to sign him from Borussia Dortmund, but he never rediscovered his earlier form at Old Trafford.
The Arabian Falcons project
In recent days Sancho has been linked with a move to Arabian Falcons FC, a club founded in 2023 that is planning an ambitious rise through the UAE pyramid. The club's manager is Jonjo Shelvey and the stated goal is promotion to the top flight within the next two years.
Those close to the project say Arabian Falcons have the financial means to offer Sancho a contract. Whether the former star chooses to drop to a lower level or holds out for a move to a more prominent club remains the decisive factor.
Before the Arabian Falcons link, negotiations with Brazilian side Palmeiras reportedly stalled. As a free agent Sancho is also connected with several other teams: a return to Borussia Dortmund is mentioned alongside Atlético Madrid, Brentford, Qatar's Al‑Rayyan, and Turkish clubs Beşiktaş and Samsunspor.
For a player who was once valued at €130 million, a transfer to a UAE third‑division side would be a striking reversal — and a choice that could define the next chapter of his career.
