Darko Dodev keeps shining: goal and assist for Altai in win over Ultaj

September 13, 2026 — Darko Dodev continued his strong start to the season by both scoring and setting up a goal for Altai in their victory over Ultaj.
The winger finished the game with a goal and an assist, bringing his personal tally to two goals and two assists so far this campaign.
Growing role at his new club
Since moving to Altai, Dodev has shown a noticeable uptick in form and has taken on a significant role in the side's attack. Teammates and coaches have leaned on his pace and directness on the flank.
Dodev also earned national-team recognition earlier in the summer when he was called up for matches against Bosnia and Turkey. However, national team coach Sedloski did not include the quick-footed wide forward in the latest selection.
With another decisive contribution against Ultaj, Dodev underlined that he remains one of Altai's most dangerous attacking options as the season progresses.
