Goce Delchev Primary School in Gorno Lisiche to receive six new classrooms and upgraded heating
A new wing with six classrooms and two offices plus a heat-pump heating system will be added to Goce Delchev Primary School in Gorno Lisiche.
Goce Delchev Primary School in the Gorno Lisiche neighbourhood is being expanded: builders are adding a new wing with six classrooms and two small offices, and the school will be connected to an upgraded heating system once construction work is complete.
Heat pumps to replace or improve existing system
The project to improve heating includes installation of heat pumps and covers the primary school, the attached sports hall and the nearby kindergarten "Buba Mara". The measures are being implemented under a Memorandum of Cooperation between UNOPS and Aerodrom Municipality.
A new building wing is under construction that will contain the six classrooms and two smaller offices intended to relieve space shortages and support extracurricular activities and administration.
"We are investing in educational infrastructure because we want our pupils to learn in modern, quality and efficient conditions. The expansion of Goce Delchev Primary School and the new heating system are concrete investments that mean better conditions today, but also creating a better future for our children," said Mayor Dejan Miteski.
Aerodrom Municipality says it will continue to roll out projects aimed at modernizing schools and improving conditions for pupils, teachers and the overall educational process.
