Dominik Livaković officially signs for Barcelona

Dominik Livaković is officially a Barcelona player, the club confirmed after the goalkeeper completed medical tests. The Croatian veteran has signed a four-season contract, with the transfer fee paid to Fenerbahçe reported at €2 million plus up to €500,000 in add-ons; his deal runs until June 2030.

From Turkey to Catalonia

Barcelona announced the signing after Livaković passed the club’s medical examinations in the hours before the confirmation. The 31-year-old arrives following a spell at Fenerbahçe and will join a squad managed by Hansi Flick where the plan is for him to serve as the backup goalkeeper.

Livaković addressed the move on arrival, saying: "It's a dream to be here and to sign for Barça. See you soon, long live Barça!"

The Croatian international brings extensive experience: he has made 310 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb, 108 for NK Zagreb and 74 for Fenerbahçe. He also spent a few months on loan at Girona during the 25/26 season but did not register any appearances for the team at Montilivi.

Barcelona expect Livaković to provide experienced cover for the starting goalkeeper and to compete for minutes in domestic and European competitions over the length of his four-year contract.
