U18 North Macedonia women lose to Great Britain 59:43 in Tulcea
Great Britain defeated North Macedonia 59:43 in Tulcea; Pislevska led the hosts with 16 points.

North Macedonia's under-18 women's basketball team suffered a third loss at the U18 European Championship Division B in the Romanian city of Tulcea, falling 59:43 to Great Britain on August 2, 2026.
British physical advantage decisive early
The match opened with low efficiency on both sides, but Great Britain used their physical edge to build a double-digit lead in the opening quarter. North Macedonia recovered some momentum in the second period, winning it 11:10, yet the visitors went into halftime leading 31:16.
After the interval Macedonia showed a stronger defensive identity. The hosts tightened up and limited Great Britain's scoring, cutting into the deficit during the third quarter: the score reached 33:20, then 34:24, and the period closed 37:25.
Macedonia kept fighting in the final quarter and briefly reduced the gap to single digits. Points from Trajkovska brought the score to 40:31 and later 42:33, but there was not enough time for a full comeback and the match ended 59:43 in favour of Great Britain.
Pislevska finished as North Macedonia's top scorer with 16 points, adding two rebounds and four assists. Trajkovska scored eight points with two rebounds and two assists. Milosavljevic recorded five points and ten rebounds; Miceva also grabbed ten rebounds.
Having played three group games, the North Macedonia junior team will have two days of rest. Their final group match is scheduled for 5 August 2026 at 15:00 against Slovakia.
