Drama at Ostrog: Father Joil interrupted the wedding over alleged infidelity
A wedding in the courtyard of Ostrog was interrupted when Father Joil publicly accused the best man of an intimate relationship with the bride.

Ostrog Monastery, a place long associated with miraculous stories and intense emotions, was the scene of a dramatic interruption of a family rite when a wedding ended before the altar with an unexpected outcry.
According to witnesses present, the atmosphere of joy and solemnity lasted until the moment when Father Joil stepped in front of the newlyweds to begin the Holy Sacrament.
A sentence that broke the silence
Instead of a prayer, the priest first looked at the bride, then turned to the best man and loudly declared: "I will not marry you! Best man, will you tell him that you sleep with his wife?!" The words paralyzed the gathered crowd.
The groom, shocked by what witnesses described as a double betrayal — by his partner and by his closest friend — collapsed before the altar from stress. The wedding was immediately halted, and the celebration turned into silence and disappointment.
In the days and months that followed, the young man went through a difficult period of recovery, but later met a woman described as honest, faithful and sincere. According to those who know him, the truth spoken at Ostrog ultimately saved his fate.
Posts and photos from the event spread across social networks; among them was a post by Stefan Stevanovic (@stefan_stevanovic7) that attracted attention.
