Drama in Kocani: police fire warning shot as group threatens woman
On 12.08.2026 at 01:00 two men were detained after an aggressive group threatened a woman in front of her house and an officer fired a warning shot.
On 12.08.2026 at 01:00 in Kocani, police officers from the Kocani Police Department detained A.Dž.(31) and S.Dž.(40), both residents of Kocani.
Incident at a private residence
According to the investigation, the two men, together with five other individuals, went to the home of B.Dž.(37) from Kocani and behaved aggressively toward her, issuing threats.
When officers arrived on the scene they ordered the group to stop their behaviour, but those involved did not comply. One police officer then fired a single warning shot into the air to try to disperse the group.
The two named suspects were taken into custody by the Kocani Police Department; the five others present at the address were not named in the initial report.
Police say that after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges and reports will be filed.
