Two minors detained in Skopje on suspicion of attempted robbery of 14-year-old
Police say two boys aged 15 and 13 tried to rob a 14-year-old on Kocho Racin Boulevard; they were detained later the same evening.
Two minors, aged 15 and 13, were taken into custody in Skopje on suspicion of trying to rob a 14-year-old boy.
Police detained the suspects on 11 October Street in Centar
On 10 August at about 20:40, officers from the Skopje Police Department stopped and detained the two juveniles on 11 October Street in the Centar municipality.
The earlier incident occurred, according to the report, at around 20:00 on Kocho Racin Boulevard. There the suspects allegedly physically attacked the 14-year-old and attempted to take money from him; when they failed to obtain cash, they fled the scene.
Both minors remain held at a police station while investigators complete the case. After the police finish clarifying and documenting the events, appropriate charges will be filed against them.
No identities were released by the authorities. The police statement notes that the case is being processed under the procedures for juvenile suspects.
