Two killed and three injured in crash on Kumanovo–Skopje highway
The accident happened last night near Agino Selo; the Ministry of Internal Affairs says the driver suspected of causing the collision was detained.
Two people were killed and three others injured in a serious traffic collision on the Kumanovo–Skopje highway last night near Agino Selo.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and transported the injured to hospital; authorities later confirmed two fatalities at the site.
Arrest of suspected driver
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said the driver believed to have caused the crash has been detained. Investigators are continuing work at the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.
Traffic on the stretch of the highway was affected while police and rescue teams carried out their operations.
Further information about the victims’ identities and the precise cause of the accident has not yet been released as the inquiry proceeds.
