Two passengers who missed an Aeroflot flight at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport ran onto the tarmac on 25 July and walked toward the aircraft in an attempt to board, a security-camera clip shows. The footage resurfaced and went viral on 8 August 2026, drawing wide attention on social media.
Airport staff intercepted them and police were called
The short video shows two women moving across the apron toward an Aeroflot jet; one of the women is pulling a suitcase behind her. According to reports, they missed the boarding and decided to approach the aircraft themselves while it was being prepared for departure.
Airport employees quickly noticed the pair and prevented them from getting any closer to the plane. Police were reportedly called to the scene afterward.
As the clip circulated online, users reacted strongly to the rare breach of the secured airside area. Aviation-safety commentators noted that walking onto an active apron while an aircraft is being moved is dangerous and can trigger security and safety responses.
