UEFA has moved the Conference League match between Egnatia and Danish side FC Midtjylland to Elbasan, citing large student protests in the Albanian capital Tirana and related public-order incidents.

Reason and logistics
The decision follows reports that student demonstrations in Tirana have escalated and that police are dealing with a series of disturbances. To reduce security risks and ensure the fixture can go ahead, UEFA chose Elbasan — located 35 km from Tirana — as the alternative venue.
UEFA reached the move in agreement with the match host and with FC Midtjylland. Organisers said the solution was considered appropriate for all parties involved.
The fixture is scheduled for today at 18:45 local time.
Match organisers have urged fans to check club channels for ticketing and stadium access information ahead of kick-off.
