Velevska — originally from Prilep — has long been a fixture on the Balkan music scene. She recalled in a recent appearance on the show Kafe Muabeti that she began her musical path at 15 and that the late Dragan Vucic was among the first to recognise her talent.
As a mother of three — Sofia, Kalia and Marko — Velevska has repeatedly said that parenthood is her greatest role. On the programme she spoke plainly about that priority, declaring, “I am the best mother a child could wish for.”
Through stage performances and public appearances alike, Velevska’s style and presence continue to draw praise, with many noting that she combines experience, charisma and youthful poise.
