Andy Robertson to win 100th Scotland cap in Skopje

Scotland captain Andy Robertson will make his 100th appearance for the national team tonight in Skopje, as the side contest a UEFA Nations League fixture.

Milestone places Robertson among Scotland's most-capped players

When he steps onto the pitch he will become only the second Scottish player to reach at least 100 caps, behind Kenny Dalglish who finished his international career on 102 appearances. The landmark underlines Robertson's longevity and consistency at international level.

Team-mate John McGinn described Robertson as "an inspiration" for younger Scottish players and praised his commitment to the national team. McGinn added that Robertson has often been prepared to play for Scotland even when not fully fit, demonstrating the importance he places on international duty.

Robertson made his Scotland debut in 2014 and has worn the captain's armband since 2018. Across his time as skipper he has led the team at three major tournaments, a period that has coincided with Scotland's return to higher-profile international competitions.

The 100th appearance is a personal milestone for Robertson and a rare achievement in modern football, reflecting both his club form and sustained availability for national selection over more than a decade.
