Ferran Torres netted three as PSG crushed Slovan; Arsenal, Liverpool and Sporting recorded wins in Champions League openers.
Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain opened their Champions League campaign with a 6:1 win over Slovan on 09.09.2026.
Torres — who arrived from Barcelona this summer and is described here as "the man who brought Spain the 2026 World Cup" — led the rout, finishing a dominant evening for the European champions.
Ousmane Dembélé added two goals and Ruiz also got on the scoresheet as PSG ran up the heavy scoreline against Slovan.

Arsenal secured an away victory at Napoli thanks to Martin Ødegaard's goal in the 75th minute, while Liverpool produced a comeback at Anfield to beat Atlético Madrid 2:1. Llorente opened the scoring for the visitors before Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister turned the game in Liverpool's favour.
In Lisbon, Sporting beat Galatasaray 3:1 despite the visitors taking an early lead in the fifth minute.
Earlier, in another notable moment, Miovski scored in the 90+1st minute to give Rangers a late win.
