Celebration in Naples — De Laurentiis Announces an Even Stronger Napoli
President Aurelio De Laurentiis announced a film and called for solid results; coach Max Allegri promises professionalism and an aim for the Champions League.

Napoli celebrated its centenary in Naples with a massive ceremony attended by club legends, current players and the coaching staff. The event was a combination of memories of the past and messages for the future.

The club president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, delivered the main speech and told supporters that Napoli is now stronger than ever and that they can expect even better results. He also revealed that a film dedicated to the centenary will be produced.
"We celebrated the faith of the Neapolitans even when everything seemed to be falling apart. This has already happened in the history of our club, which is now stronger than ever. Looking to the future, where I see an even stronger, more beautiful and better-structured Napoli. Neapolitans, let's have fun: let's do it again in ten years," said De Laurentiis.
The new coach, Max Allegri, addressed the crowd and pledged a professional approach and high ambitions, with emphasis on the club's goals in domestic and European competitions.
"It is an honor for me to be here; I returned after thirty years. The centenary is the heritage of the city and of many generations; the strength of the Neapolitans was to come back and win again. I have already felt the great love and passion of the supporters. I can promise professionalism so that we will achieve our goals. Let us hope that we will meet again next year and celebrate some trophies together. Champions League? What a beautiful word, as Toto used to say," said Allegri.
The ceremony, held on 2 August 2026, was a clear signal that the club is consolidating the legacy of the past while simultaneously planning concrete investments and activities to become even more competitive in the coming seasons.
