FFM opens disciplinary proceedings against FC Bashkimi, Muarem Muarem and Durim Hida

The Football Federation of North Macedonia's Disciplinary Commission announced on October 16, 2026 that it has opened disciplinary proceedings tied to events at a 9th-round First Macedonian Football League match involving FC Bashkimi and Struga Trim-Lum.

The action follows what the commission described as poor organisation at the home fixture hosted by FC Bashkimi. The federation said the club will be investigated for failures connected to staging the match from the ninth round of the Prva MFL.

In addition to the club itself, the commission named coach Muarem Muarem and club representative Durim Hida. The coach is accused of unauthorized presence in the technical area during the same match, while Hida faces charges for obstructing officials of the visiting team as they tried to enter the official premises.

Sanctions and match suspensions issued

Alongside the newly opened proceedings, the Disciplinary Commission published a list of penalties it has already imposed on players and staff across the league:

  • Endrit Rustemi (FC Shkupi 1927 AD) – suspension for 1 match.
  • Stefan Babunski (FC Detonit) – suspension for 1 match.
  • Trajche Nikov (FC Kozhuf) – suspension for 1 match.
  • Hristijan Torneski (FC Novaci) – suspension for 1 match.
  • Romeo Kochoski (coach of FC Ohrid) – ban from performing functions for a period of 1 month.
  • Valentin Kochoski (FC Ohrid) – suspension for 2 matches.

The federation said the disciplinary measures were decided at a meeting of the commission convened before the start of the tenth round of the Prva MFL championship. Further details on the course of the proceedings, possible fines or additional sanctions were not published at the time of the announcement.
