FFM opens proceedings against Tikvesh; suspensions and month-long bans announced
The Football Federation's disciplinary body opened proceedings against two clubs and handed multiple player suspensions and one-month bans for club representatives.
The Disciplinary Commission of the Football Federation of North Macedonia announced its decisions regarding matches from the 3rd round of the First Macedonian Football League and the 1st round of the Second Macedonian Football League.
Decisions and sanctions
A disciplinary procedure has been opened against FK Struga Trim Lum for neglecting obligations — specifically for not providing parking space for the visiting team bus and for improper field markings.
A disciplinary procedure has also been opened against GFK Tikvesh 1930 for poor organization of the match, citing the throwing of a water bottle onto the field and chanting on a national basis.
The Commission imposed player suspensions and official bans as follows: GFK Ohrid Lihnidos player Albnor Kaba is suspended for four matches after receiving a direct red card in the 1st round Second MFL match between GFK Ohrid Lihnidos and ZFK Novaci 2005. ZFK Novaci 2005 player Stefan Spiroski is suspended for four matches after receiving a direct red card in that same fixture. ZFK Novaci 2005 player Jusuf Kaba is suspended for one match after receiving a second yellow card (red) in that match.
Representatives of both clubs were sanctioned: ZFK Novaci 2005 representative Igor Stojkoski is banned from performing functions for one month after receiving a red card in the 1st round Second MFL match between GFK Ohrid Lihnidos and ZFK Novaci 2005, and GFK Ohrid Lihnidos representative Blagoja Budzakoski is banned from performing functions for one month for a red card in the same match.
Additional player sanctions include FK Skopje player Darko Sekoski suspended for one match for receiving a second yellow card (red) in the 3rd round First MFL match between FK Sileks and FK Skopje, and FK Teteks player Aleksandar Atanasijevski suspended for one match for receiving a second yellow card (red) in the 1st round Second MFL match between FK Makedonija G.P. and FK Teteks.
