Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua could finally meet in the ring on December 11, with Cardiff's Principality Stadium named as the likely venue, according to boxing journalist Dan Rafael.
Rafael reports the stadium — which holds more than 80,000 spectators and has a retractable roof — has been targeted for the long‑awaited clash, but organisers still need to finalise remaining administrative matters and secure permits.
Dates shifted as talks continue
Earlier dates that circulated included November 28 and December 4, with November 28 considered the most likely option until recently. Rafael also noted that the fight had at one point been discussed for September 10 and that Netflix was expected to agree to a location change.
Rafael wrote: "According to a source directly involved in the negotiations, if everything is fully agreed, Joshua and Fury will fight on December 11 in Cardiff. It will take some time to sort out the bureaucracy and obtain the necessary permits."
Both Fury and Joshua have been among the most recognisable names in British boxing for years, and talks over a showdown between them have repeatedly reached an advanced stage. No official confirmation of the bout has been released yet.
