Florian Kadriu signs for AC Bellinzona

September 10, 2026 — Florian Kadriu (30) has completed a transfer to AC Bellinzona and will wear the Swiss club's shirt for the coming season in the third tier of Swiss football.

From domestic experience to the Swiss third division

The 30-year-old full-back arrives with a lengthy domestic résumé: he has previously played for Shkupi, Renova, Rabotnicki and Struga TL. Beyond North Macedonia, Kadriu's career also includes spells in Kosovo, Albania, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

Bellinzona's management introduced Kadriu as a new signing and noted the club had strengthened "with a quality player from North Macedonia." The club expects his experience to bolster their defensive options and contribute on the flanks.

Kadriu will join the squad ahead of the ongoing season in the Swiss third tier, where Bellinzona will compete for promotion. The move represents another step in a journeyman career that has included multiple domestic and international stops.

At 30, Kadriu brings veteran presence to a team aiming to climb the Swiss league ladder. Further details on contract length or squad number were not disclosed at the time of the announcement.
