Frosina Coneva to officiate triathlon at Mediterranean Games in Taranto
Selected by World Triathlon as one of 12 European referees; triathlon events are set for 29 and 31 August, while the Games run 21 Aug–3 Sep.
Frosina Coneva has been appointed as one of the match officials for the triathlon competitions at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto.
World Triathlon selected Coneva as one of 12 European referees who will officiate at the Games, which run from 21 August to 3 September. The triathlon races are scheduled for 29 and 31 August.
North Macedonia's biggest delegation
North Macedonia will attend the Mediterranean Games with its largest-ever contingent, numbering around 130 participants. The delegation includes athletes across multiple sports and the country will also be represented among competition officials.
Coneva's appointment places her among a small, experienced group of European referees entrusted with supervising the triathlon events at a major multisport meeting in the region.
The presence of judges from North Macedonia underlines the country's growing involvement in international sport both through athletes and technical staff, as teams and officials prepare to travel to Taranto later this month.
