Silbo founder becomes director of Skopje’s largest driving-exam centre
One of the founders of the Silbo bakery business has become manager of the Auto Examination Center Skopje and its municipal branches.
Owner of bakery brand Silbo, Bobi Milev, has taken over management of Skopje’s largest driving-exam operator.
Milev, known as one of the founders of the Silbo bakery brand and the owner of Zhito klas Silbo, assumed the role of manager of the Auto Examination Center Skopje last month and will also oversee the traffic exam branches in Karposh, Centar, Čair, Aerodrom and Gazi Baba.
Change in ownership and leadership
The Auto Examination Center Skopje has a new owner since last month: Aleksandar Karafilovski replaced the previous owner, Viktor Serafimov. At the same time Bobi Milev succeeded Mirjana Boshkovska as director of the company. At the end of last year the company reported revenues of nearly two million euros and employed 48 people.
The Auto Examination Center Skopje is a private company that performs a monopoly activity of public importance — organizing and administering driver examinations in the Skopje area. The center conducts both theoretical and practical tests for candidates in all categories and subcategories of motor vehicles.
By law the legal entity must hold a licence from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and meet strictly defined spatial, personnel and technical requirements in order to operate. The centre took over the organisation of driving exams in Skopje in 2018 when it replaced the previous operator, the AMSM Exam Center.
The company was established on 19 June 2018, and early reports identified then-26-year-old Viktor Serafimov as its owner and manager.
