Gazeli Volley beat Rabotnicki Skopje 3:0 in season opener

Gazeli Volley opened the new First League womens season with a statement — they beat reigning champion Rabotnicki Skopje in straight sets to take a convincing victory in the season opener on October 18, 2026.

The visitors controlled the match from the start and closed the score 3:0 (25:16, 25:23, 25:17). Gazeli Volley looked composed in all areas of the court and kept the upper hand for most of the contest.

Rabotnicki, who won the Super Cup about ten days earlier, were unable to find a reliable answer to Gazelis rhythm and pressure during the game.

Other sides also started the campaign with clear results: Nakovski Volley recorded a straight-sets home win over Pelister Volley, while Vardar EM and Strumica also secured victories in the opening round.
