Georg Stojanovski joins Qatari side Lusail
The Macedonian forward will sign a two-year deal with newly promoted Lusail after passing medical checks.

Macedonian international Georg Stojanovski has completed a move to Qatari side Lusail, the club that will compete in the top tier of Qatar's league.
The former Spartak Varna player is already in the Middle East; after he passes medical examinations he is expected to sign a two-year contract with the team.
Stojanovski continues a career that has taken him beyond North Macedonia: he previously played in the United Arab Emirates with Hatta and spent time in Bulgarian football before his stint at Spartak Varna.
Background and domestic track record
At home he developed through several Macedonian clubs, having been on the books of Vardar, Teteks, Shkupi and Rabotnicki. He has also been capped at youth international level for North Macedonia.
Lusail have just been promoted to Qatar's top flight. The club has links to Macedonian football history too: former national team coach Mirsad Jonuz worked there in the past, and the stadium where Lusail play hosted matches during the 2022 World Cup.
