Gjoko Jovic posts family photo — fans surprised by resemblance to his father
The folk singer from Valandovo posted a photo with his father, brother and son; followers noticed he is almost a twin of his father.
One of North Macedonia's most popular younger-generation folk singers, Gjoko Jovic, recently shared a rare family snapshot that drew attention online.
The picture, posted to his social account, shows Jovic together with his father, his brother and his son Mihail. Followers quickly pointed out the strong family resemblance between the singer and his father.
From tobacco fields to the stage
Jovic, who comes from Valandovo and often speaks proudly about his upbringing, started out working in tobacco alongside his parents before moving to the capital in search of better opportunities. He has credited that early work ethic with helping him build his career.
Off stage he is married to Ivana and they are parents to four children: daughter Teodora and sons Mihail, Joan and Darin. The family-oriented singer has described himself as willing to return to his agricultural roots if needed.
Under the photo he simply wrote: "Vine".
