Lina Gjoreska will make her first appearance at this year’s US Open today when she opens in the qualifying draw against Japan’s Mai Hontama.
Hontama is 26 years old and is currently ranked 171 on the WTA list.

Hontama reached her career-high ranking of No. 105 on August 5, 2024.
The match is scheduled as the second match on today’s order of play on Court 16; the first match on that court is due to start at 17:00.
