Gjorgji Mojsov appointed head coach of Zemun

Gjorgji Mojsov has been officially named head coach of Serbian SuperLiga club Zemun, the club announced on September 8, 2026. The 41-year-old Macedonian replaces Milan Kuljić and will take charge as Zemun seeks to turn around a difficult run of results.
From Tikvesh to the Serbian top flight
Mojsov arrives in Serbia with several years of coaching experience in North Macedonia. He spent the bulk of his managerial career at Tikvesh, where he worked from July 2021 — first serving as an assistant to Vlatko Kostov and Panče Blaževski before moving into lead roles.
The appointment is framed as a clear task: stabilise Zemun’s performances and mount a campaign to avoid relegation from the Serbian SuperLiga. Club officials have entrusted the Macedonian strategist with rebuilding confidence in the squad ahead of the crucial months of the season.
At 41, Mojsov is one of a younger generation of coaches making the step into neighbouring leagues. His work at Tikvesh — both as an assistant and later as head coach — was cited as the main reason for Zemun’s decision.
Mojsov will begin preparations immediately with the aim of improving results and establishing a clearer identity on the pitch as Zemun fights to remain in the top division.
