Portugal beat Norway 2:1 in the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League at Estádio do Dragão, thanks to a late winner from Goncalo Ramos after goals by Kristofer Ajer and Joao Cancelo had set the tone for a dramatic match.

How the game unfolded

Portugal started the match on the front foot and created several promising chances, but it was the visitors who struck first: Kristofer Ajer opened the scoring in the 36th minute to give Norway a shock lead.

Two minutes later Joao Cancelo produced an even more spectacular goal to level the score and restore parity going into the break.

The decisive moment arrived in the 79th minute when Goncalo Ramos put Portugal ahead with a well-taken finish. The match later boiled over when manager Conceisao was shown a red card for protesting.

With the victory Portugal extended their winning run in the competition and remained at the top of the group standings.

In the other Group match Denmark beat Wales 1:0, with Hojlund scoring the only goal in the 75th minute.
