Tikvesh goalkeeper Marko Alchevski successfully undergoes ACL surgery

October 23, 2026 — Tikvesh goalkeeper Marko Alchevski successfully underwent surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), the club confirmed on Friday evening.

The operation was performed at Acibadem Sistina Hospital by Dr. Mihajlo Ivanovski. The procedure was completed without reported complications, and medical staff have outlined a course of post‑operative care.

Recovery and rehabilitation

Following the intervention, Alchevski faces a period of recovery and structured rehabilitation aimed at restoring strength and mobility to the injured knee. The club expects the goalkeeper to follow a phased rehabilitation plan under medical supervision.

Tikvesh issued wishes for a swift and complete recovery to Alchevski and expressed the hope that he will return to the goalposts "stronger than ever."

The 2026/27 season will see the club monitor his rehabilitation progress closely before deciding on a timetable for his return to training and competitive matches.
