Gorazd Ristovski to collect senior minutes at Grafičar

Gorazd Ristovski will start accumulating senior minutes at Grafičar after signing his first professional contract with Red Star Belgrade.

Ristovski, a Macedonian international and a youth national team player, completed his pro deal with Red Star this summer and was immediately directed to the club’s affiliate competing in the lower tiers of Serbian football.

Grafičar has become a regular stepping stone for Red Star’s young talents, and several Macedonian internationals have recently enjoyed first-team minutes there. The move is intended to give Ristovski the regular competitive playing time he needs at senior level.

Planned pathway from youth to senior football

Ristovski himself signalled this trajectory when he spoke at the time he signed his contract, indicating that a spell at Grafičar was the logical next step in his development.

Until now he featured in Red Star’s youth setup, but the club and the player judged that it is time for him to test himself in senior matches to continue his progress.

Earlier this summer, Elmas and RB Leipzig departed for England, highlighting the busy transfer period for Macedonian players abroad.
