Gordana Siljanovska‑Davkova wows on Manaki red carpet in floral satin gown

Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the country’s first female president, drew attention on the red carpet at the 47th Manaki Brothers Film Festival in Bitola with a striking floral satin gown.

As the festival’s patron, she arrived in a long, flowing dress whose bright floral print combined turquoise, blue, pink and violet shades. The garment’s satin sheen and the fresh palette were widely remarked upon by onlookers and on social media.

The silhouette was an elegant A-line that falls from the waist in soft pleats; the bodice featured three-quarter sleeves, lending the look a diplomatic restraint while retaining a regal poise. She completed the outfit with low-heeled shoes, a discreet necklace and her signature neatly arranged hairstyle.

A public moment and an official duty

On the festival stage Siljanovska-Davkova presented the "Golden Camera 300" lifetime achievement award to Danish cinematographer Dan Laustsen. In a message on her social accounts she wrote: "It is always a pleasure to be in Bitola, the city of the first film makers, the Manaki Brothers. Film is woven from light and shadow, and it is our duty to support the new generations of artists who bravely push the horizons of possibility."

This appearance adds to a string of carefully chosen outfits the president has worn at major events — from an all-black protocol look on a visit to the Pope, to pastel suits in Berlin and a flowing embroidered dress at the traditional "Galichka Wedding" — demonstrating an approach that balances formal function with a distinct sense of style.
