Active fires in Makedonski Brod and Chucher‑Sandevo; 31 wildfires in 24 hours
Two blazes remain active in Makedonski Brod and Chucher‑Sandevo; four fires are under control and 25 were extinguished in the last 24 hours.

The Center for Crisis Management said that, over the past 24 hours, 31 wildfires were recorded across North Macedonia: two remain active, four are under control and 25 have been extinguished.
Active blazes and locations
Active fires are burning in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod near the village of Belica and the locality Kajorec, where low-stature and mixed forest vegetation is involved, and in the Municipality of Chucher-Sandevo near the village of Brest and the Ramno locality, which is affecting mixed forest.
Fires currently listed as under control include one near the village of Benche in Makedonski Brod municipality, one near the Kichevo-area village of Tajmishte, a blaze at the municipal landfill in Delchevo, and a fire near the village of Kopanica in the Municipality of Saraj.
Authorities continue monitoring the active sites and the areas under control while firefighters and local services work to fully extinguish remaining hotspots. No further operational details or information about casualties were provided in the morning update.
Residents in affected areas have been advised to follow the guidance of local emergency teams and avoid entering zones where firefighting operations are under way.
