Grigorij Gjorgjevic becomes new signing for TFT
The young Macedonian guard joins TFT after standout displays at the U18 European Championship and as final-four MVP.
Grigorij Gjorgjevic has officially signed with TFT, the Skopje-based club announced on August 15, 2026.
The 18-year-old guard, one of North Macedonia’s most promising young players and a member of the national youth team, arrived at TFT after a strong individual performance at the recent U18 European Championship. He finished the tournament with averages of 13.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists, ranking third in assists across the competition.
From Vardar final-four MVP to TFT roster
Gjorgjevic further underlined his credentials during the U18 final four, where he was named MVP of the final tournament playing for KK Vardar. In the final game he produced a standout line of 25 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds, performances that earned him the tournament’s most valuable player award.
TFT confirmed the signing on their social channels on August 15, 2026, adding a young, nationally capped playmaker to their squad ahead of the new season. The move completes a high-profile domestic transfer from Vardar to one of Skopje’s leading clubs.
The addition of Gjorgjevic gives TFT another homegrown option in the backcourt and boosts the team’s depth with a player who has already shown the ability to score, rebound and create at youth international level.
