Hajduk strengthen defence with Denis Hadžikadunić
The 28-year-old Bosnia defender and World Cup participant in the United States, Mexico and Canada arrives in Split after ending his spell with Rostov.
Hajduk Split have added Bosnia and Herzegovina international Denis Hadikaduni7 to their squad, with the 28-year-old defender arriving in Split to join the club.
Hadzikaduni7 is one of Bosnia's defenders and was part of the squad at the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Born in Malm and a product of the local system there, he previously represented Sweden at youth level before switching his sporting nationality to Bosnia.
Career path and recent clubs
After signing a significant contract with Russian side Rostov, Hadzikaduni7 spent time on loan at Mallorca, Hamburg and Sampdoria. His spell with Rostov has now ended and he has moved to Split to join Hajduk.
At 28, Hadzikaduni7 brings a mix of international experience and club-level exposure from several European leagues, which Hajduk will look to utilise in defence.
Details on the length and terms of the deal have not been provided in the initial reports; the move, however, represents Hajduk's latest transfer activity ahead of the ongoing competitive season.
