Two Macedonian internationals, Sebastian Herrera and Agon Elezi, were selected in the league’s team of the round in Bosnia after strong performances on 2 September 2026.

Herrera helped Borac to a 2:0 victory on 2 September 2026 and again demonstrated why he is the club’s first-choice on the left side of defence. The fullback’s defensive stability and presence down the flank earned him a place in the round’s best eleven.
Agon Elezi produced a decisive contribution for his side by scoring in the closing moments to secure a 2:1 away win over Široki on the same day. His late goal turned the match and was singled out by local observers when assembling the team of the round.
Both players are expected to be considered by national team coach Goce Sedloski for North Macedonia’s upcoming fixtures in the UEFA Nations League, with their recent club form strengthening their cases for selection.
