A similar situation was observed yesterday: passengers entering the country waited more than two hours while crossing the border. Drivers report that the line moves very slowly and that delays begin far before the crossing itself.
On the ground, access roads are congested with cars and buses, creating a significant traffic backlog toward the border point.
Advice for passengers
Drivers are advised to allow extra time if they plan to cross via Evzoni. The long queues up to the toll station create stop-and-go conditions and increase travel time for those returning from Greece.
