Indira Kastratoviq: nga kampionia e Kometal drejt rolit të koordinatores përpara Forumit të Hendbollit Femëror në Ohër

Indira Kastratoviq është një nga emrat më të njohur të sportit femëror në Maqedoninë e Veriut — një kampione e së kaluarës me arritje që ende kanë ndikim. Ajo ishte pjesë e skuadrës Kometal Gjorche Petrov që fitoi Ligën e Kampionëve në 2002, dhe ishte golashënuesja kryesore e përfaqësueses së Maqedonisë në Kampionatin Botëror të vitit 1997 në Gjermani me 71 gola, duke ndihmuar ekipin të përfundojë në vendin e shtatë historik.

Përpara Forumit të parë të Hendbollit Femëror në Ohër, që do të mbahet më 26 shtator 2026 në SC "Biljanini Izvori", Kastratoviq ndau kujtime dhe vëzhgime për karrierën e saj dhe detyrat që ka marrë pas përfundimit të lojës aktive. Ajo është anëtare e EHF Hall of Fame dhe aktualisht shërben si koordinatore e të gjitha përzgjedhjeve kombëtare femërore në Federatën e Hendbollit të Maqedonisë së Veriut.

Nga 2002 në realitetin e sotëm

Duke kujtuar finalet e Ligës së Kampionëve kundër Ferencváros në 2002, Kastratoviq tha: "Those were, without doubt, the final matches of the Champions League against the Ferencváros team from Budapest in 2002. The years of hard work by everyone at Kometal Gjorče Petrov were rewarded with a wonderful atmosphere before the return leg across Macedonia. On the day of the match, the energy in the Kale Sports Hall and on the square provided extra motivation for all of us to give our maximum and win the trophy. To be a winner and to stand on the podium and speak in front of a twenty-thousand-strong crowd is something I will remember for the rest of my life."

Për ndryshimet midis brezave, ajo vërejti: "If we talk about handball at a global level, the difference, in my view, is in the creation of a kind of automation of team play, with a low level of individual creativity. Also, the high intensity of today's handball is a reason for a large number of technical errors in every match."

Si koordinatore, ajo theksoi prioritetet praktike: "The first thing that needs to change is the level of financial investment in women's handball, in club infrastructure and the quality of coaching staff in the youngest club generations. Time is an extremely important factor in creating quality." Ajo shtoi se talenti nuk është problemi kryesor: "Talented girls exist in every handball environment. Their development depends on their commitment to club training and matches. By participating in competition systems organized by the Handball Federation of North Macedonia, the most talented among them will be recognized and selected for the national teams. Without quality work at clubs there will be no quality national teams."

Kastratoviq do të jetë një nga pesë panelistet në forumin e Ohrit, ku do t'u tregojë historinë e saj të hendbollit vajzave e të rejave: "I intend at this Forum to share my handball story with others. My intention is, by telling my own career, to explain that each of us, coming from a handball province, with much effort, sacrifice and dedication, can reach the greatest handball heights." Kur u pyet nëse ia vlen të zgjedhësh hendbollin, ajo u përgjigj: "My answer is: of course it is worth it, if you are prepared to devote yourself to it unreservedly!"
