Italy routed Turkey 4-1 in Bursa while France, Bosnia and Sweden also picked up wins in UEFA Nations League action.

Italy returned to winning ways in the UEFA Nations League with a convincing 4:1 victory over Turkey in Bursa. The Azzurri dominated early and effectively settled the match before half-time: Alessandro Bastoni opened the scoring in the 9th minute, Davide Frattesi doubled the lead in the 22nd, and Kayode made it 3-0 before the break. Turkey reduced the deficit through Yilmaz in the 47th minute, but Italy restored its cushion three minutes later when Esposito struck for 4-1.
The result was Italy’s first win in the group after losing to Belgium on matchday one; Roberto Mancini’s side now have three points while Turkey remain pointless after two rounds.
Other Nations League results
France picked up a narrow but important 1-0 away win over Belgium in Brussels in the group's second round. The match had been largely goalless until the 88th minute, when Michael Olise completed a long individual run from his own half and finished with a precise strike to beat the Belgian goalkeeper. France maintained a perfect record in the group after an opening 1-0 victory over Turkey, while Belgium — winners against Italy in the first round — left their home fans empty-handed this time.
In Bucharest, Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded a convincing victory over Romania in a B-league fixture of the Nations League. It was hailed as one of the best performances under coach Sergej Barbarez: Bosnia controlled possession for large spells, created the clearer chances and took advantage of their opportunities to claim a decisive win.
Sweden beat Poland 3-1 in their second-round encounter. Benjamin Nygren put the hosts ahead in the 8th minute, Poland levelled just before half-time through Sebastian Szymanski in the 43rd minute, but Sweden regained control after the break. Yasin Ayari restored the lead in the 63rd minute and Viktor Gyokeres sealed the final 3-1 scoreline with a goal ten minutes later.
These results reshape the early standings across several Nations League groups as teams head into the next international break.
