Jürgen Klopp visits Bayern Munich training base
The Germany manager observed training at the Allianz Arena after Bayern’s 5–1 season opener against Stuttgart.

Jürgen Klopp, the newly appointed manager of the Germany national team, paid a visit to Bayern Munich's training centre during the club's preparations this week. The visit coincided with Bayern's season opener at the Allianz Arena, where the Bavarians recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory over Stuttgart.
Visit and meetings
Klopp watched parts of the training session and held talks with Bayern's leadership, including head coach Vincent Kompany. The meeting was described as part of the new Germany coach's tour around the country.
Bayern, led by Kompany, now shift focus to their first DFB-Pokal fixture of the season against Osnabrück on Wednesday. Klopp's presence at the Allianz Arena came on the same day the team opened their Bundesliga campaign.
The report was published on 30.08.2026. Klopp faces a busy schedule in the weeks ahead: he is due to announce his first Germany squad on 17 September, ahead of Nations League matches against the Netherlands, Greece and Serbia.
Observers noted the visit as an early sign of communication between the new national coach and leading clubs in Germany ahead of the international calendar.
