Jordan Mitev fills Melbourne hall and plays kaval as audience sings "Biser balkanski"
During his Australian tour Mitev led a crowd singalong in Melbourne, posted a faith-filled message online and is preparing a 20‑year concert in Skopje.

Folk singer Jordan Mitev brought a standing-room eruption to Melbourne during the Australian leg of his autumn tour, sharing a clip in which the entire hall joins him in a single voice on the timeless hit "Biser balkanski" while he plays the kaval.
Audience, message and homecoming plans
The video Mitev posted on social media shows him lifting the crowd to their feet and, at one point, taking up the kaval and performing for the audience as thousands sang along with outstretched arms. Earlier stops on the tour included Wollongong and Sydney, and performances in Canberra and Perth also preceded the Melbourne date.
Alongside the concert footage, Mitev published a photograph of Melbourne and attached a pointed message to his followers: "When they cannot beat you they will try to smear you, but don't worry, my friend, because God sees everything and thinks well of you." The post quickly drew attention and was shared by many members of the Macedonian diaspora in Australia.
For Mitev this tour is both professional and deeply personal. He has spoken openly about meeting his wife Slavica on a previous Australian tour and about their two children during an interview on the TV show "Kafe Muabeti" on Glamur TV.
After finishing the overseas dates, Mitev will return to North Macedonia to prepare a major solo concert in Skopje marking 20 years of his career, scheduled for later this year.
