Juventus eye German forward Nik Voltemade as another late signing
After completing a loan for Pape Matar Sarr, Juventus are targeting German forward Nik Voltemade as a possible temporary addition.

Juventus have been busy in the closing hours of the transfer window and look set to add another forward to their ranks. Pape Matar Sarr is arriving from Tottenham Hotspur on an initial one‑year loan with a purchase obligation that can become mandatory for €30,000,000 if he plays in 50% of matches and Juventus secure a place in the Champions League.
But Sarr may not be the only arrival before the deadline. The club had earlier targeted Joshua Zirkzee, and a new option has surfaced in the form of German forward Nik Voltemade. The 23‑year‑old was linked with Napoli in recent days and has also been a name Massimiliano Allegri reportedly wanted as a loan signing; Juventus are now exploring the same path.
Loan the only viable route
Voltemade is a costly asset on paper — Newcastle paid €90,000,000 for him last summer — a price tag that places a permanent transfer beyond the financial reach of many Italian clubs. That makes a temporary move the only realistic solution at this stage.
According to reports, Luciano Spalletti told his sporting leadership that Voltemade would be the ideal partner for Randal Kolo Muani in attack. That assessment would clear the way for Jonathan David to be made available for a loan move to Atlético Madrid.
Concrete financial terms for any deal have not been disclosed and time is running out as the transfer window approaches its close.
