Juventus start season with 1-0 win; Lecce take three points in Venice

Juventus began the 2026/27 Serie A campaign with an away victory, beating Frosinone 1-0 on 23 August 2026.
Luciano Spalletti's side controlled large portions of the match and might have left with a more comfortable scoreline, but a single goal proved enough to secure the three points.
The only goal came in the 22nd minute: Conceicao delivered a precise cross and Bremer headed the ball into the net to make it 1-0.
Juventus continued to press after the opener and created chances, yet they could not find a second goal before the final whistle.
Elsewhere: Lecce wins in Venice
In the evening's other Serie A fixture, Venezia were defeated at home by Lecce, who claimed a 2-0 victory and the full three points.
Both results send Juventus and Lecce away from the opening day with wins as the new league season gets under way.
