The minimum annual vacation allowance known as K-15 for employees in the private sector this year is estimated at about 19,415 denars, if calculations use the most recent average net wage figures.

The rise follows data from the State Statistical Office showing that the average net wage in August 2026 reached 48,733 denars. Wage growth is the driving factor behind the higher K-15, since in the private sector the allowance is set on a prescribed base.

How the new amount is calculated

The three-month average net wage for June, July and August stands at 48,537.67 denars. Applying the statutory 40 percent base to that figure yields a K-15 of approximately 19,415 denars.

Employers and payroll departments use this calculation as the minimum guide when determining the annual leave allowance for private sector workers. The final paid amount can be higher if collective agreements or employer policies set a larger sum.

The increase reflects a 7.6 percent rise in the average net wage compared with the same month last year, underlining continued upward pressure on salaries and related benefits.
