Karolina and Maja Share Rare Backstage Photo at José Carreras Concert

A rare backstage photograph of Karolina Gocheva and Maja Odžaklievska surfaced after the gala concert on Macedonia Square marking the 35th anniversary of independence, where José Carreras appeared as a special guest.

The image, shared by Karolina, shows both singers smiling behind the scenes: Maja wearing a striking green creation with orange accents and handmade jewelry, and Karolina in a fitted black dress moments before she changed into the white stage gown designed by Markov and styled by Jovana Zuka.

For the evening performance Karolina returned as a clear fashion focal point, appearing in a lavish white gown with a slim silhouette that emphasized her figure. The dress featured a lavish gold crystal embroidery with vegetal motifs at the front and along the zipper on the back, while a small, architectural detail in the construction gave the piece a restrained, modern edge.

The top of the outfit was completed by a short cape with pronounced, sharp shoulders and a high, elegant collar that together created a regal silhouette. As a glamorous finishing touch she wore long white gloves that extended above the elbows, lending a classic Hollywood glamour appropriate for sharing the stage with an opera legend.

The backstage photograph captured a warm moment between two generations of Macedonian pop stars: Maja, making an emotional return to the Skopje stage after a ten-year break, and Karolina, who earlier that week had surprised audiences in Prilep with an urban look of wide jeans and sneakers.
