Kevin De Bruyne double as Napoli beat Frosinone 3-0

Napoli defeated Frosinone 3-0 at home on October 10, 2026, in a Serie A sixth-round match that was settled by two first-half goals and a late finish.

Max Allegri's side turned early control into a lead in the 27th minute. Rasmus Hojlund took a penalty that Palmisani initially kept out, but after the referee Felisiani ruled there had been an early entry into the box the spot-kick was retaken and Kevin De Bruyne scored from the second attempt.

Control and a late seal

Moments later Lang doubled the advantage to make it 2-0 before the break. The second half settled into a quieter rhythm with Napoli managing the game and creating further chances — a McTominay attempt was tipped behind for a corner.

In the third minute of stoppage time De Bruyne added his second of the night to set the final score at 3-0. The win moves Napoli level on the Serie A table with Frosinone, who also sit on 10 points.

The result was recorded in the sixth round of the Italian top flight and underlined De Bruyne's influence on the match as he finished with a brace.
