KK Gostivar signs American Christian Turner
202 cm American Christian Turner joins KK Gostivar ahead of the domestic season.
KK Gostivar announced on 30.08.2026 the addition of American forward Christian Turner to their roster, a 202 cm player expected to bolster the club's presence inside the paint.
Background and college career
Turner arrives with extensive NCAA experience, having played at Texas State and Troy, competitions that form part of one of the strongest collegiate basketball systems in the United States.
The 202 cm frame gives Gostivar more size under the rim, with the club expecting Turner to contribute on rebounding, interior defense and scoring in the paint as they prepare for the upcoming domestic championship season.
Coaching staff and team officials have described the move as a step to deepen the squad's rotation down low, adding a player familiar with a high level of competitive college basketball.
Turner joins KK Gostivar ahead of the new campaign and will be available for selection once the club completes formal registration and fitness checks.
The club's supporters will be watching closely to see how quickly Turner adapts to European play and the domestic league rhythm.
