Venko Filipche: Which Sanja Bozhinovska wants an apology — the Bulgarian or the Macedonian?
Filipche points to company registers that list Bozhinovska as Rudnap Bulgaria manager (2012–2014) and a December 6, 2013 registration entry identifying a Bulgarian passport.
Opposition leader Venko Filipche challenged Energy Minister Sanja Bozhinovska on who is demanding an apology — “the Bulgarian” or “the Macedonian” — after Bozhinovska asked SDSM to retract accusations that she served as executive director of Rudnap Group for Central and Eastern Europe between 2011 and 2014.

At a press briefing Filipche said the party’s allegations are based on verifiable records. He noted that Bozhinovska had worked at the company that now provides the electricity meters in question and collaborated with the same partners in Serbia. "It is a fact that she worked in the firm where she now received the meters and cooperated with those people in Serbia. From 2012 to 2014 she was the manager of 'Rudnap Bulgaria'. Furthermore, in the Zagreb firm 'Rudnap' – December 6, 2013 – that documentation shows a change in registration and there she is identified with a Bulgarian passport. Which Sanja Bozhinovska is asking for an apology? The Bulgarian or the Macedonian. Shouldn't the Macedonian be asking for the Bulgarian?" Filipche said.
Filipche framed the dispute as a question of loyalty and public interest, asking whether Bozhinovska, who is recorded as holding a Bulgarian passport and has said she identifies as Bulgarian, serves the interests of Bulgaria or of North Macedonia.
He also linked the issue to a recent political move: "Is she one of the reasons they rejected the law so there would be no dual citizenships in the highest state functions, so we would not know whose interests these people work for? People with dual citizenships," Filipche added, warning that SDSM will not apologise for presenting facts available in central registries of the countries involved and that responsibility will eventually be demanded.
The minister has insisted she has had no business or private ties with Rudnap for more than 12 years and denied any involvement in the procurement process that EVN, as a private company, conducts independently. She demanded that SDSM publicly withdraw what she called false claims and apologise within 24 hours, and she threatened legal action if they do not comply. Opposition members responded by publishing a company registry record bearing her name.
