Koki Jankov remembers Dule and announces jubilee concert
In a tearful Icon Show interview Koki revisited their friendship, Dule’s alcohol problems and announced a jubilee concert on 14 November.

For the first time in 13 years, Koki Jankov spoke openly about the death of his friend and musical partner Dule, delivering an emotional interview on Icon Show with David Davidovski. With tears in his eyes he revisited their friendship, the disagreements they had before Dule’s death and the alcohol problems that afflicted his colleague.
Jankov said the last time the two saw one another was three months before the tragic event. He described how, when he set off for the hospital to visit his friend, he was told that Dule had already died.
During the conversation he also recalled a traffic accident they experienced while travelling to a performance, and spoke candidly about his own divorce, his daughter and other personal challenges he has faced.
Jubilee concert announced
Koki used the interview to announce a major jubilee concert marking 30 years since the song "Violina i gitara" was performed at Makfest in 1996. The concert is scheduled for 14 November at 20:00 at the Macedonian Philharmonic.
David Davidovski’s Icon Show framed the episode as a powerful and intimate account, mixing raw memories with music that has left a mark on the Macedonian pop scene.
